City of DeWitt Police InvestigationsCaptain Mike Osmun, Police InvestigationsAn important element of the solution of any criminal incident is a thorough follow-up investigation by an experienced investigator. Captain Mike Osmun, coordinates the Investigative Functions of the DeWitt Police Department. The Investigations Division of the DeWitt Police Department currently has a 75% clearance rate on cases assigned for follow-up investigation. Captain Osmun is a 26-year veteran of the DeWitt Police Department and experienced in Criminal Investigations. 
Capt. Osmun has worked in all capacities and positions, including service as Interim Chief of Police during his distinguished career. In addition to Investigations, Capt. Osmun's duties include:
