Proposed Property Tax Levy Notice The City of DeWitt is proposing the same tax levy as the last tax year - $14.07209 per thousand of taxable valuation. The Residential Rollback from last tax year to this tax year increased by 2.35%. DeWitt assessed values of all unimproved properties remained the same as last tax year. Overall, the City's REGULAR TOTAL PROPERTY TAX revenue increased by 1.1%, with a general residential property tax increase of 2.35% and no increase on industrial and commercial properties (due to no change in the commercial/industrial rollback).
